We are not as different as you may think we are. Without even thinking, often we create dividing lines between one another based on age, race, gender, and economics. We assume that since we come from different backgrounds, we must be different. However, is this true reality or mere perception?
Our dream is to see lives of every background intersect to begin blurring the dividing lines and come together for a day of service and opportunity, men and women from one economic tier will merge with those of another. Caucasians will mix with people from different races. Students with the elders. And, children will find hope for a future by observing this intersection.
